Hello Fall

Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled

I seriously love these cool strappy bras from Free People, and what better way to show them off than with cool open back tops like this one. I'm obsessed.

A day late but hello fall! I welcome you with short sleeves and an open back. It's the Florida way.

My mom send me a message saying "Happy Spring!" She lives in Argentina so of course the seasons are completely different. The weather here would definitely match Argentina's current season.

Early mornings and evenings have cooled down a bit, but we can't avoid those 89 degrees during the day. Not yet.

Yes, as cheese as it may sound, it's Chris's and I first Halloween as a married couple.
So here, meet our first pumpkin lol. I should have thought of a name for it. It's tiny, but perfectly shaped.
We found it while doing our grocery shopping.

Today it's finally felt like fall in Florida, in a long time. Not that I haven't already been wearing my boots, scarfs and sweaters for those cold A/C rooms, but now I won't sweat as much taking pictures outside! yay!!

P.S. I gotta say I loved the lighting in this pictures. the sun was just at its sweet spot :P

Anime Character

navy romper- UO
back button gold blouse- F21
necklace-Present

Here I have talked about how to make a dress your own; but what about a romper?
I recommend working with one that is strapless, but you can also use a sleeveless one. Just add a top, (short, long or 3/4 sleeve) and wear it underneath. I ended up creating a color block effect here, still making it look like a one piece item.
A romper is like a dress, just as fun to work with. So have fun with it! mix prints, or any 2 solid colors and it's like you bought a new romper. Take a look (here) when I went to the fair and wore this romper with a blouse on top, instead.

...So my husband saw the last picture and told me I looked like an anime character. I just gave him the "what?!" look, but looking at this picture again I have to say I agree -___-  I just forgot to do the peace sign and it would've been complete. I'm a sailor moon fan at heart anyways, so it's ok. (and if you ever watched that show, my favorite character was Jupiter).

Go with the Flow

It's the day after Valentine's day! How was your lovely day/night?
Chris and I had a quite night making funfetti cupcakes (his favorite). He surprised me with flowers in the morning, which was a great way to start the day :). Tomorrow we will venture to Lincoln Rd in Miami FL, to celebrate the fancy way :P.
Here is a post of the first time we venture there together for our 4 year anniversary.

A little bit of rain gave us a windy afternoon on Sunday, that I tried my best to pose with the most flowy skirt ever. I'm surprised I got a couple of shots that I was happy with.
It's almost guaranteed that whenever I wear this skirt, it rains. Luckily this time it wasn't a monsoon like last time. But at least now I know that if we are ever on a drought, this skirt is coming out.

Side note: If I'm squinting my eyes, It's because it was bright outside, not that I'm trying to seduce. Ok, glad we are clear. lol

Train Tracks

pinafore dress- Tulle4us
peter pan collar sweater under dress- UO
ankle boots- modesta

I am not lying when I say this dress is so thick, sleeveless but warm indeed, perfect for Florida 'winter'. I paired the dress with a sweater underneath to add the sleeves and the cute peter pan collar. That's what is fun about a dress (like I mentioned here before). So if you have a sleeveless dress just add a cute tee, blouse or sweater with cute sleeves under and you have something different and fun to wear! look at how I styled another sleeveless dresses with a blouse underneath here and here.

So about the time Chris and I started dating (5 years ago) I spotted this old train cart on the side of the road on the way to his work. Ever since, I had been wanting to take a picture there. On Sunday afternoon I re-wore my Friday outfit to venture to this spot and get a few outfit shots for the blog.

Thank you, so much, my dear husband for driving me all the way down to this place to take my pictures :) you are the sweetest! <3

P.S.: Valentine's is tomorrow!! Also Chris's and I first one as a married couple!! how exciting :D
