Learning to pace myself

Remember when I said I was over wearing this belt? lol, Can't get enough  of it!

This outfit is from 2 weeks ago when I went with Chris to get stuff to decorate the house, exchange stuff we didn't want and such.
I'm trying to keep my sanity as I decorate the house.
I have way too many ideas and projects overwhelming my brain, with no time and not much money a week to get it all, lol. But little by little it can be done.
I just need to learn to pace myself.

In other news, we bought a couch!! psyched!!
I'm excited to finally get rid of that old, uncomfortable love seat, that is all :P

Georgia here we come!!

It's Monday and I'm sick. A cold has finally caught up with me and my immune system.
I should have bought more gummy vitamins when I ran out, but once your husband was sick, there's no way you can escape it, I guess.

So on Wednesday, Chris, his family and I will be traveling to Georgia since his brother is graduating from basic training, so it should be fun! we are driving all the way up there.
Have I mentioned how much I love road trips!!!??? well, I do, a lot!!

Georgia and beautiful weather, here we come! I just hope this cold is gone by then :P

PS: there will be a post on Wednesday! so be on the lookout! :D

Esmeralda

I've been having way too much fun taking pictures on the house next to mine. They have the cutest little porch and the only reason I've been able to use it on my pictures it's because the house is on sale, so until someone buys it, you'll be seeing this cute little porch.

So aside from the color of the skirt being like an emerald green (Esmeralda in Spanish), the name for this post came about because of the 8th picture. My husband, when taking my pictures, uses continuous shooting, meaning that by the end of the day I have about 300 pictures, from one outfit alone, to edit and choose from (can't complain, lol).
On that particular shot I was twirling and that pose was my favorite, reminding me of  Esmeralda from the hunchback of Notre Dame. Which by the way, who loved that movie when little?... in fact I want to watch it now that I've mentioned it.
Now I wonder, why didn't I use my tambourine for this post? it would've been perfect!!

The Pointy toe

dress, pearls- F21

When it comes to flats, I'm all about the pointy toe. They are my favorite.
How about you? almond toe, round, square or pointy?

So, if you haven't noticed I have slowly transitioned my hair from bangs to the puff. I think I will stay away from bangs for a while, which still it doesn't justify the fact that I am, indeed, in need of a trim. :P

Happy Friday!!

P.S.: See how I've worn this dress here

Train Tracks

pinafore dress- Tulle4us
peter pan collar sweater under dress- UO
ankle boots- modesta

I am not lying when I say this dress is so thick, sleeveless but warm indeed, perfect for Florida 'winter'. I paired the dress with a sweater underneath to add the sleeves and the cute peter pan collar. That's what is fun about a dress (like I mentioned here before). So if you have a sleeveless dress just add a cute tee, blouse or sweater with cute sleeves under and you have something different and fun to wear! look at how I styled another sleeveless dresses with a blouse underneath here and here.

So about the time Chris and I started dating (5 years ago) I spotted this old train cart on the side of the road on the way to his work. Ever since, I had been wanting to take a picture there. On Sunday afternoon I re-wore my Friday outfit to venture to this spot and get a few outfit shots for the blog.

Thank you, so much, my dear husband for driving me all the way down to this place to take my pictures :) you are the sweetest! <3

P.S.: Valentine's is tomorrow!! Also Chris's and I first one as a married couple!! how exciting :D
