Mod 60's

 

Have you seen the movie Moonrise kingdom? 

Well, that's what this outfit reminded me of, when I wore it 2 weeks ago.

Fun fact: I'm wearing this dress backwards again :D

Do you love the fashion from the 60's? Personally the 1920's and 1960's are definitely my top 2 with a little from the 40's.

Brunch date

It's not often Chris has a free morning on Saturdays, usually he leaves for work around 7:30am.

Two Saturdays ago when he had to work later hours, instead of morning, I knew a breakfast (which ended up being a brunch) was taking place. 

We got to go to one of our favorites, First Watch. 

That place is the perfect breakfast/lunch place. And if you happen to go anytime soon, try their new strawberry mint cooler, Its the perfect summer drink. :P

On our way home it started raining, hence outfit pictures are inside instead of outside.

I spent the whole afternoon and evening in this outfit... Even though its cute, it's also very comfy. 

Little fun fact, The blouse is backwards lol!!! I knew that, when I bought it, but forgot all about it when I put it on. I guess you never think of the buttons being on the back, lol... but next time I'll wear it the right way... At least now I know I can wear it two ways! hehe.

No Choice

Last night Chris and I said goodbye to the cute kitty we've been taking care of for the past 2 weeks. 

Once I got home, after dropping him off at his owner's house, I was so sad... 

It's funny to see how you grow so attached to a pet, mostly when they are babies, It's like you raised a child or something and you are letting them go. 

All I know is that a piece of my heart went with the kitty and I will miss him and the fun pictures that would take over my instagram.

...So changing the subject a bit, the overalls I'm wearing are super old. They have, many times, been on the giveaway pile, but I always end up rescuing them. Well, I finally wore them again, they are cute and I just can't let them go... just like the kitty I guess, although on that one I had no choice :P

Fun Fringe

I love this top, the fun fringe (perfect for twirling, I must add) and the 20's vibe it gives. 

Next time to make it more 20's, I need to wear a mini skirt, pearls, fishnet tights, t-straps, some feathers and a headband. 

Oh, it's happening :P

keeping Saturday casual

Last week, this was my casual Saturday outfit, just running errands and enjoying a coffee date with Chris. 

You can't tell by this pictures, but it was definitely drizzling a bit. 

I seriously can't wait 'till raining season is over.

Posting on a Thursday? what?!...

Romper or dress?

Once again wearing all black, whites/creams, but this time with a hint of green on the belt.

I love this romper, it could easily pass up as a dress, don't you think?

So yesterday we heard the heartbreaking news that my mother in law's dog, passed away :'(   

He was such a loyal, sweet, happy dog, always yelping with excitement when he would see mom come home from work

...You were a cutie Mr. Pugsley, and we will miss you lots <3

Fringe, Friday, Fireworks.

It's Friday!!!!!! Wore this outfit last week on Saturday. 

It was so hot that day but I still managed with the boots on :). They say beauty is pain, right? :P

So I've realized 95% of pictures I've liked on Instagram, between last night and this morning, are all videos, pictures of fireworks. 

Everyone had a good 4th of July?!!! :D 

My husband took me to the ramp off the highway last night, one of the highest one in town, where you could see all the fireworks going off in every surrounding area. It was really cool, even though I was so scared every time a car would drive by at a highway speed, and our car would shake on the ramp. 

Thankfully nothing bad happened :P
