Belts & Rings

Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled

Am I cooking in an oven? This summer is getting to be too much. I believe white is the perfect summer outfit since it doesn't attract as much heat as dark colors do. But I have to say it, Summer is my least favorite season.

I love the Bombay tank from Free People, and I'm all about the lace halter bra which adds a cute detail to the low neckline. Also, have I mentioned I'm becoming a magnet for accessories? Working at Free People is going to increase my newest addiction: belts and rings.

Part of that

I believe this has been the longest the blog has gone without a post. It's been so cloudy every time I wanted to take pictures; I always wait for a sunny day to jump on it.

I have already started my job over at Free People and I love it. This top and belt were some of my first buys there as an employee. I love the flow, shape and color on this top, and since I started working at FP I have been obsessed with their belts. I mean it's not like I'm not obsessed with everything else in the store... but no worries I'm also learning self control. Good thing customers keep your mind off of spending your whole paycheck in there lol!

But I truly enjoy being able to help them find what they are looking for. It feels great when they leave with a smile on their face and you know you were part of that.

The Journey begins

This shade of red has always been a favorite, and it doesn't hurt that I love the mock neckline on this top so much. A halter bra is definitely a great match for this cut; Free People always has the best intimates to go with every shape of clothing.

So to the anticipated news, I'm super stoked about starting my job (in exactly a week) over at Free People. Is this really happening?!

I've been looking forward to this moment...

...the journey begins!

A la Mulan

Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled   Untitled  Untitled Untitled Untitled

Kimono + dress: Urban Outfitters | earrings + clogs: Free People

This past week has been a great week and explains my short hiatus on the blog. I got a job offer at a place I've been wanting to work at for a very long time and I'm over the moon. I will soon share where.

But I'm back! And here is one of my favorite dresses. Pairing it with this kimono and clogs was ace; also it made my outfit very a la Mulan... minus the sword.

I was conflicted because I wanted to wear a necklace with this outfit, but the earrings really stand out on their own. Minimal is the way to go.

FP takes the gold

I may or may not be obsessed with this weathered door...

So I had forgotten how much I loved wearing this leather vest. I got it on sale the first time I visited a Free People store ever, thanks to the hubs. Free People has such a rad edge to their clothes that perfectly describes my style. If I had to choose, Free People takes the gold... or my money. Ha!

P.S. I have snapchat:  lizetterosser -give a follow!

Weathered door

Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled

shirt: Anthropologie | jeans: DSTLD | bag: Free People | boots: Seychelles | watch: Daniel Wellington

I love the color on this pictures. I was tired of trees, bushes and grass, and this weathered door is a perfect change.

So my new thing? I've started looking at recipes online, and have found some amazing inspiring food bloggers out there that make delicious stuff.
The other day I made Salted bourbon dark chocolate brownies with vanilla bean whipped cream -all from scratch- ... I know! right?!
I was very proud of myself, but I have certainly set the bar high in the kitchen. Now the husband expects a lot of delicious treats and meals on my days off, oops!

Time to get inspired I say.
