Show Some Shoulder

Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled

shirt + jeans + ring : Free People | boots: Seychelles | hat: Madewell

In the four weeks that have gone by I have missed blogging. Cloudy weather and rain has mostly been the cause of it; but at least I can say I've managed to have two posts in June.

This cute off-shoulder top arrived to Free People and I was excited to finally get it. Aside from the fun bare shoulder look, I love the cute ties on the sleeves; It's the little details.
The fact that it's loose and flowy will make you either hate it or love it... -I LOVE it {insert 'heart eyes' emoji}.

It's been toasty here on the east coast, and wearing boots isn't really helping my situation. But you just can't take boots away from this girl, ever.

The interview dress

Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled

dress: Free People | boots: Seychelles | necklace: Premier Designs

This dress sure makes me feel like I'm on cloud 9. I have worn it several times, and one of those times was to my interview with Free People. Talk about a dress that gave me the boost of confidence I needed; that and coffee, and a sweet husband who took the time to prepare me for it.

Now I can say I'm officially part of the FP team!

A Match Made in the 70's

Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled

jeans: Free People | boots: Seychelles | shirt: Madewell

I love the retro feel of the striped radio tee from Madewell, and pairing it with these boots was like a match made in the 70's.

Yesterday on our way home the hubs and I looked at each other with sad faces in realization that there was no more 11.23.63... If you don't understand what I'm talking about just go to Hulu and check out that mini series. It sure gave us all the feels.

Among other things we are currently enjoying is the band Overcoats. They don't have a lot of music, but I'm obsessed with the few songs I've heard on Spotify. Their voices remind me a bit of First Aid Kit meets Eisley. They have a super chill vibe. I'm all about it.

FP takes the gold

I may or may not be obsessed with this weathered door...

So I had forgotten how much I loved wearing this leather vest. I got it on sale the first time I visited a Free People store ever, thanks to the hubs. Free People has such a rad edge to their clothes that perfectly describes my style. If I had to choose, Free People takes the gold... or my money. Ha!

P.S. I have snapchat:  lizetterosser -give a follow!

Weathered door

Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled

shirt: Anthropologie | jeans: DSTLD | bag: Free People | boots: Seychelles | watch: Daniel Wellington

I love the color on this pictures. I was tired of trees, bushes and grass, and this weathered door is a perfect change.

So my new thing? I've started looking at recipes online, and have found some amazing inspiring food bloggers out there that make delicious stuff.
The other day I made Salted bourbon dark chocolate brownies with vanilla bean whipped cream -all from scratch- ... I know! right?!
I was very proud of myself, but I have certainly set the bar high in the kitchen. Now the husband expects a lot of delicious treats and meals on my days off, oops!

Time to get inspired I say.
