What did I say about this kimono?
One of my favorites, and I just can't stop wearing it.

My mom loved it so much, as well, that I got one for her too.

-Mother's day gift?... checked!-

The dress was picked out by my husband, and I absolutely love it!
The beading details + the shape of the dress, reminds me a lot to Free People; that store is my weakness-besides Anthropologie, of course- and getting inspiration from their lookbook is just one of my new favorite things.

. I can't decide if these tights are green or brown, or in between. But it's a fun color to wear.

The weather has been cooler around here, lately. I seriously cannot complain.
Last night, even thought it was a a bit misty, Chris and I embarked on the journey to find the perfect Christmas tree, and that we did.
It took 3 different places to find it, but it was so worth it!

Every year we've gone together with his mom and it was always his and his mom's tree. When we got married last year we lived in her house for the first Christmas, so it wasn't really ours.
This year we have our own place and for the first time we can call it Our Tree!!

Now to get crafty around the house :D

'Tis the season!

So I guess this week has been all about shift dresses on the blog.
I've worn this dress on my birthday, when my sweet husband took me out to eat sushi (one of my favorite foods) and also this past Sunday when we went out to eat sushi with friends after church...hmm I see a pattern, and no, its not the pattern of the dress.
From now on whenever I want Sushi I'll just wear this dress :D

It was really hard to find a necklace that wouldn't get lost on such dark mad print, but my silver short necklace seemed to work out perfectly. Sometimes simple is the way to go.

So shifting the subject a bit (lol) this weekend my husband and I are headed to Orlando for our 1 year Anniversary.
I still cant believe its almost been a year. Madness!!!
He is truly a blessing in my life. I Couldn't be happier to be with such a wonderful, caring, loving gentleman :)
ok I wont get too mushy here hehe.

Have a lovely rest of the week and weekend!! <3

P.S. I'll try to take as many pictures as I can to attempt sharing here on the blog (maybe next week?)! But if there's no posts next week, you know why :D

What can I say, I love this dress. The weird print, the color. the shape.
Got it on sale at Anthropologie.
That store is slowly becoming my weakness.

This past weekend I saw my friends get married on the most beautiful wedding ever. I also got to hang out with two of my dear friends, Chelsea and Chris, who came down for the wedding, from Maine, and I hadn't seen in 6 months. And finally but not least, got to host a 'welcome home' surprise party for our friend Kishore, that came from India, and will be marrying my sister Laurie this coming December.

Talk about a crazy. busy yet wonderful weekend :P

Here is my dapper, handsome, husband and I  at our friend's wedding

And here, bellow, is a picture of the newlyweds.
Congratulations guys! We love you both!

This tights don't come out as often, but it makes them special when they do. I've had them since 2010... that's how old they are... crazy!!!

I wore this outfit to my friend's bachelorette, a couple weeks ago.
I can't believe she is already getting married tomorrow, and that I get to be a part of such a special day!!
So happy for them and their marriage. Marriage is a beautiful beautiful thing <3
.

P.S. Happy Halloween everyone!!!!

As I type this I'm currently complaining of back and neck cramps. But I'm truly forever thankful of a husband that takes care of me when not feeling well. He is the best.

Anyhow... here's an outfit post. yay!
This sweater vest is awesome. I just love it. The length is perfect and I can't wait to wear it with a longer sleeve tops or dresses when it gets colder. On that note, I'm crossing fingers a big cold front shows soon. As for now I'm enjoying the nice breeze we are getting. After all is Florida and anything under 80 degrees is quite wonderful.
