Bear with me. This pictures took some extra, extra! effort to edit; and even then they didn't come out exactly how I wanted them. But oh well, I like this outfit too much to not post it.

Changing the subject a bit. Tomorrow my church band and I will be traveling to Atlanta GA to record some of our original songs. We are so beyond thankful and excited God has opened this opportunity and so grateful for Eagle's Landing Church for opening their doors and offering to help in this exciting journey.

See you all in a week! Atlanta here we come!!!

A few weeks ago I found this dead end road.
Of course, as soon as I spotted this place, I knew I wanted pictures there.

It may just be my favorite spot yet, hands down.
No traffic, a beautiful canopy, a rooster calling in the distance -yes! that happened.

I got jealous of the two houses on the sides, at the end of the road.
One of them was just being built, and I jokingly told Chris "It's our future home!!"

...One can dream right?

What a beautiful place.

I know I haven't been posting as often, but where did January go?
It's like time goes much quicker, as I get older; and to think that later this year I'll be 27, and my husband will be 30- what?- That's scary!!
...We are grandparents, without grandchildren
...Nah... late 20's, early 30's still pretty young. Right?! :D

So Chris and I will be going again to Orlando this weekend, for an early Valentine's/a much needed mini vacation.
We've been doing a bit better since all that happened at the beginning of the year, but in all truth, if it wasn't for God, our friends and family, this would've been a much harder process.

Seriously, to everyone of those special people in our lives, if you are reading this, you are amazing, and we thank God everyday for you, your prayers, and for being there for us!!!
We love you <3

Scissor, needles and threads oh my!

Well, I have a pair of boots that match the color of the concrete, lol.
Taking pictures in my usual spots, with these on, is a no go.

The skirt I'm wearing is an old one I thrifted a while back (also worn HERE) .
I used safety pins to make it into an asymmetrical crazy way.
What do you think?

I'm the kind of person that is afraid of cutting and sewing the fabric and mess it up...  Safety pins help me create something without having to cut or sew.
But no worries, on the other hand when it comes to repairing something, I'm not that afraid of the scissors, needles and threads.
Trust me, I know my basics ;)

Have a lovely weekend!

It's the day after Valentine's day! How was your lovely day/night?
Chris and I had a quite night making funfetti cupcakes (his favorite). He surprised me with flowers in the morning, which was a great way to start the day :). Tomorrow we will venture to Lincoln Rd in Miami FL, to celebrate the fancy way :P.
Here is a post of the first time we venture there together for our 4 year anniversary.

A little bit of rain gave us a windy afternoon on Sunday, that I tried my best to pose with the most flowy skirt ever. I'm surprised I got a couple of shots that I was happy with.
It's almost guaranteed that whenever I wear this skirt, it rains. Luckily this time it wasn't a monsoon like last time. But at least now I know that if we are ever on a drought, this skirt is coming out.

Side note: If I'm squinting my eyes, It's because it was bright outside, not that I'm trying to seduce. Ok, glad we are clear. lol

Head of roses

cream skirt- sosie
lace top - F21
long cardigan- Tj maxx
 headband- custom made on etsy
boots- Ruche
6 toed cat- Mittens (hehe)

It's often people mistake my tops and bottoms combos for a dress or a romper... and I like that. creating an outfit out of a top and bottom to make it look like a one piece, is my favorite; it just feels more unique. So now you know that whenever I wear a dress is either because I ran out of time or had no clue what to wear :P.

This headband is so old!! I custom ordered it on Etsy a while back. I really liked how it complimented this particular outfit.

On the last picture is the cutie 6 toed cat, found by my brother in law. I can swear he is a dog trapped inside a cat. His name is Mittens, considering he has 6 toes on each paw. I'm probably making Mancha Jealous :P
