I wore this outfit on Thanksgiving day, and the weather was so beautiful.

I loved the simplicity of this outfit and I was happy to finally wear one of my favorites scarfs. 

Chris and I enjoyed the day with my family for lunch and with his family for dinner.

In other words I don't want to see turkey again, lol ><

But of course I say that every year.

  

The night ended with hot chocolate and watching a Christmas movie :)

When I got this jacket a couple of months ago, I was very excited, until I walked out of the store and was hugged by a heat wave... Florida.

I had been wanting a leather jacket for years. So I couldn't wait to wear this one the first opportunity a cold front showed.
I heard tonight it will be 50 degrees. For us Floridians that's glorious!!! well, speaking for me, that is :P
I'm going to get my hot chocolate ready!!! 

Changing the subject, tomorrow it's thanksgiving!!! or how I like to call it 'eat till your belly can't handle' ....Nah, haha, hope you all have a wonderful day with family and friends.

Also who is excited to start decorating for Christmas? :D

I just love this time of year.

A day to give Thanks

A day out of the year suddenly arrives, where we remember to give thanks.... but I'm thankful everyday of the year, even today when it isn't a national holiday to remind me so!

I'm thankful for another day, family, friends that are like family, a life given through Jesus, my husband, Chris's grandma's thanksgiving meal, the list can go on... what are you thankful for? 

Every other year Chris and I have celebrated thanksgiving together...

This year's Thanksgiving Chris and I went to his grandma's house once again. I had volunteered to make the sweet potato casserole, which btw It was delicious :) I was indeed very proud of it.

...but this year was even more special than the last couple of years, because it was our first Thanksgivings together as The Rossers :D and it sounds so wonderful to say it like that :D

It was beautiful outside! even tho the day started warm, cooling slowly as the day went on, so I had to say no to my knee socks :( but its ok, hopefully there'll be colder days coming our way soon! crossing fingers we get a very chilly weather this Christmas :D


So, did you do black Friday or Cyber Monday?  I didn't.. well I never do black Fridays, I very rarely like shopping in stores anyways and I don't like crowds... but since I'm an online shopper, I have always snatched something great online (like this dress), on cyber Monday .. but this year after moving out of my house I realized I have way too much, (I have donated 5 bags of stuff to goodwill already) so Cyber Monday did not allure me in :) But I indeed had a great relaxing thanksgiving with my husband and family and that's all that was important to me, and well, the food too! :D

I'm going to keep this post short and sweet, 'cause its Thanksgiving! and lets face it, I have to get to the kitchen and make my sweet potato casserole :D

On Wednesday Chris and I headed out on a shopping date to H&M and then we found this awesome latin restaurant called Pio Pio. It was, I admit, delicious!! 

On the picture above we are having passion fruit (maracuya) juice, it's oh, so good! if you ever go to a Peruvian restaurant make sure you order that, you will not regret it :)

I love hot air balloons so when I saw this on the sky I had to take a picture. someday I will ride on of these :)

We came across this Fair in town, but not the seasonal kind, its more like a boomers, kind of, but this one has a ferris wheel and that is awesome.

I believe this fair has been in town for like forever to be this empty, It almost looked like an abandoned fair (scary movies coming to mind right about now).
Chris took me to the go-cart in the multiple level and I almost died!! those carts go so fast, every time I was high above I felt I was going to go off the road. but It was fun, regardless :)

We finished the night renting some movies and relaxing. Nothing like a honeymoon where you can seat relax and not think you have to go to work the next day.

It's Thanksgiving and I'm so thankful for the life God has given me through Jesus and for giving me such a sweet and loving husband, as he is running errands for my sweet potato casserole right now :P

Turkey day

yay thanksgiving day! Who got ready for black Friday? I know I didn't. One thing for sure I dislike crowded disorganized places and always prefer online shopping anyways... A lot of sites gave good deals, modcloth gave a sale of 50% off so I got a 40 dollar dress for 20.. As a shopaholic I'm proud I only bought one thing :)

this tights remind me of Alice in wonderland..def my favorite ones! haven't worn them in a while, so i thought this day was perfect and cool enough for tights. come on Florida get colder.

my sweetie and i went to his grandmas house. on the way there we tuned to some Christmas carols!

Grandma did good! :D
