A late saturday post. Why not?!

I've worn this dress a lot. My husband picked it for me at his store about a year ago. it's not only perfect, it's special. And I wore it to his surprised birthday dinner. So yes this is a long overdue post. I should make this blog posts twice a week again.

This past weekend my husband and I headed out to the Harry Potter celebration in Orlando. Three whole days at universal and Island of adventures? -yes, please- All day everyday.

The weather was lovely; a little chilly in the mornings but so wonderful in the afternoons. I had so much strawberry/peanut butter ice cream, chocolate raspberry ice cream, hot butterbeer and sticky-toffee pudding.
No worries I did eat food too, but dessert is always a priority on my menu.

We had a blast. But of course vacationing with your best friend, always is.

And Here's to Many, Many More!

Hello everyone!
Chris and I are back from our weekend getaway, and as promised, here are a few shots from our small trip.

Our 1 year anniversary!!

We had a wonderful time at Orlando, and even though we got sick with a cold, together, we still made it count and had a great time.

A much needed vacation for sure!

After a fun walk through the mall, we headed to this pizza place, for lunch, called Mellow Mushroom, located at a town called Winterpark (cutest little town). The pizza at this place is amazing!

After lunch we explored the town a bit and found this cute lake where we hung out for a while. (And of course took pictures)

We went back to the hotel to rest after a full day, and to get ready to head out to Downtown Disney for the evening.

For dinner we headed out to an awesome Irish pub called Raglan, that we had gone to on our honeymoon.
Definitely one of our favorites and one to check out if you are ever at Downtown Disney.

Apparently they gave us the best seats in the house.... It was the comfiest dinner we ever had, lol. And of course, Chris wished he had brought his pipe.

Last time we didn't have time to go to Ghirardelli for dessert, so this time it was a must.

Yum yum!!!

side note: the weather was just perfect.

On Sunday before heading home, we went to Universal.
We decided to get the annual passes, because we just love Harry Potter World and their butterbeer a little too much. Now we can come back any time we want to :D

Chris was so happy they had finally incorporated this hat to the shops. He had asked last year about them but nobody knew what he was talking about ...

-"hats? I don't think that is part of the school uniform"- said one lady that worked there...

pshh, can't mess with a book geek. Obviously He was right, lol

And so here, we ended our mini trip. And with stuffy noses and sore throats, we went all the way back home lol.
I guess it's safe to say that the couple that gets sick together, stays together, lol

One year of marriage with this wonderful man!!
Here's to many many more!!!!

Honeymoon day 6- part 2: A Fancy Evening

On Friday, our last night in Orlando, and the last night of our Honeymoon, we ventured to Downtown Disney after the movies...

If any night had been cold, this last night topped them all, I was a popsicle and the winds made it feel like we were in the 50's.. of course I decided to wear a sleeveless dress, but thankfully I brought a blazer with me, which I decided against it most of the night, because the dress standed so beautifully on its own. well they say beauty is pain, or more like beauty is forgetting you are a popsicle and not show you are shivering! :P

We stopped at this Irish restaurant called Raglan Road, for dinner.

Here is a picture of the inside so you kind of get the idea...

They told us the wait for a table was 45 min, so Chris went to get us hot chocolate... I believe we heard wrong because our table was ready in 5 minutes, and Chris had left to go get us hot chocolate somewhere outside the restaurant...
They sat me at our table while I waited for Chris. An old guy sitting right next to our table turn to me and said: "are you a princess?" lol I just simply said "I wish" LOL
Once Chris showed up the guy turns to our table again and says "What is this, you all dressed up!" lol, we just laughed...

We got delicious food followed by a delectable dessert...
Usually i'm the one that asks for dessert, but this time, It was Chris who asked for it lol, I guess I'm rubbing in on him haha! ...well, It's expected after dating almost 5 years :P

We usually like chocolate anything for dessert, because seriously, you can never go wrong with chocolate... but this time the bread pudding was very alluring, so we went for it.
 Look how good it looks...

There was Irish music and dancing...

Overall It was such a fun and delicious restaurant, I highly recommend it if you ever venture to Downtown Disney ;)

After Dinner we hurried to Cirque du soleil show, we were so excited!!! It was such a great show, sadly they wouldn't let you take pictures inside so you'll only get what the outside looks like...

Cirque du soleil is in Downtown Disney so we just walked there after dinner :)
