Show Some Shoulder

Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled

In the four weeks that have gone by I have missed blogging. Cloudy weather and rain has mostly been the cause of it; but at least I can say I've managed to have two posts in June.

This cute off-shoulder top arrived to Free People and I was excited to finally get it. Aside from the fun bare shoulder look, I love the cute ties on the sleeves; It's the little details.
The fact that it's loose and flowy will make you either hate it or love it... -I LOVE it {insert 'heart eyes' emoji}.

It's been toasty here on the east coast, and wearing boots isn't really helping my situation. But you just can't take boots away from this girl, ever.

Part of that

jeans + top + belt + lace halter bra: Free People | necklace: Premier | boots: Seychelles

I believe this has been the longest the blog has gone without a post. It's been so cloudy every time I wanted to take pictures; I always wait for a sunny day to jump on it.

I have already started my job over at Free People and I love it. This top and belt were some of my first buys there as an employee. I love the flow, shape and color on this top, and since I started working at FP I have been obsessed with their belts. I mean it's not like I'm not obsessed with everything else in the store... but no worries I'm also learning self control. Good thing customers keep your mind off of spending your whole paycheck in there lol!

But I truly enjoy being able to help them find what they are looking for. It feels great when they leave with a smile on their face and you know you were part of that.

The interview dress

dress: Free People | boots: Seychelles | necklace: Premier Designs

This dress sure makes me feel like I'm on cloud 9. I have worn it several times, and one of those times was to my interview with Free People. Talk about a dress that gave me the boost of confidence I needed; that and coffee, and a sweet husband who took the time to prepare me for it.

Now I can say I'm officially part of the FP team!

The Journey begins

top + clogs + halter bra + hair clip: Free People | jeans: DSTLD | necklace: Premier Designs

This shade of red has always been a favorite, and it doesn't hurt that I love the mock neckline on this top so much. A halter bra is definitely a great match for this cut; Free People always has the best intimates to go with every shape of clothing.

So to the anticipated news, I'm super stoked about starting my job (in exactly a week) over at Free People. Is this really happening?!

I've been looking forward to this moment...

...the journey begins!

A la Mulan

Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled   Untitled  Untitled Untitled Untitled

Kimono + dress: Urban Outfitters | earrings + clogs: Free People

This past week has been a great week and explains my short hiatus on the blog. I got a job offer at a place I've been wanting to work at for a very long time and I'm over the moon. I will soon share where.

But I'm back! And here is one of my favorite dresses. Pairing it with this kimono and clogs was ace; also it made my outfit very a la Mulan... minus the sword.

I was conflicted because I wanted to wear a necklace with this outfit, but the earrings really stand out on their own. Minimal is the way to go.
