Long overdue post... I know!!

I wore this outfit 2 times in one month: running errands and a meeting.

Love the top and its name on the site: "Machu Picchu" ...I mean holla! that means its Peruvian inspired, hehe.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.

First year my husband and I got to celebrate waking up at our own place, and it was quite wonderful :)

After Christmas, the festivities for my sister's wedding begun.

She looked absolutely radiant on her day and I couldn't be happier that she found an amazing guy.

Today I'm super jelly as they embark on their honeymoon to.......... ::drum roll::........... San Francisco!!!!! woooo! so exciting!

When I saw this boots at Anthro's site. I immediately loved them 

The color is a perfect cognac/rust, and they have that rustic yet delicate look.

  

For being Anthro, I got them for a great price. 

It was definitely worth waiting 2 months for that sale. Wooo!

Christmas is next week!!!  ahhh!!! 

So I have exactly one more week to enjoy singing Christmas carols before people tell me: 'shhhh, Christmas is over'..... 

...Those little grinches.

Tonight is Cheese pizza and 'Home Alone' with Chris.

I remember the time I got these leggings. 

I was so excited to get them in the mail and as soon as they arrived, I opened the package, and my smile went to an "oh...."... 

yup, I did not like them.

 Just because they were thick enough to keep me warm, for the few cold days we had, I decided to keep them, to wear around the house. 

3 years later and now I'm wearing them outside the house. What can I say, they grew on me, they look great with this cute boots and whenever I work with glitter around the holidays, its perfect.

Glitter everywhere!!

So last night Chris and I put the last ornaments on the tree. 

We hung all his year by year ornaments since he was born, given by his mom.

I wore this outfit on Thanksgiving day, and the weather was so beautiful.

I loved the simplicity of this outfit and I was happy to finally wear one of my favorites scarfs. 

Chris and I enjoyed the day with my family for lunch and with his family for dinner.

In other words I don't want to see turkey again, lol ><

But of course I say that every year.

  

The night ended with hot chocolate and watching a Christmas movie :)

. I can't decide if these tights are green or brown, or in between. But it's a fun color to wear. 

The weather has been cooler around here, lately. I seriously cannot complain. 

Last night, even thought it was a a bit misty, Chris and I embarked on the journey to find the perfect Christmas tree, and that we did. 

It took 3 different places to find it, but it was so worth it! 

Every year we've gone together with his mom and it was always his and his mom's tree. When we got married last year we lived in her house for the first Christmas, so it wasn't really ours. 

This year we have our own place and for the first time we can call it Our Tree!!

Now to get crafty around the house :D

When I got this jacket a couple of months ago, I was very excited, until I walked out of the store and was hugged by a heat wave... Florida.

I had been wanting a leather jacket for years. So I couldn't wait to wear this one the first opportunity a cold front showed.
I heard tonight it will be 50 degrees. For us Floridians that's glorious!!! well, speaking for me, that is :P
I'm going to get my hot chocolate ready!!! 

Changing the subject, tomorrow it's thanksgiving!!! or how I like to call it 'eat till your belly can't handle' ....Nah, haha, hope you all have a wonderful day with family and friends.

Also who is excited to start decorating for Christmas? :D

I just love this time of year.

A Busy November

Once again we go back an hour and it gets dark so early, that is tough taking pictures for the blog. 

Not sure if I like pictures being taken at night. But do expect that could happen at some point, hehe. 

So, November of this year has been the busiest, but fun! From attending a wedding, to a shower, and Chris's and I mini trip for our 1 year of marriage. All kinds of fun activities, and one coming up next moth, my sweet sissy's, Laurie, wedding 

I'm so happy for her and her soon to be husband, Kishore. 

They are seriously perfect together, and can't wait to celebrate their marriage with them.
