It's Thursday! which can mean only one thing: ONE DAY TILL FRIDAY! YAY! :D

    Yesterday Chris and I got to hang out with our friends Steph and Josh. We ate dinner, made brownies, talked, laughed, played with Penny (their cute little puppy) and watched Silent Hill. I had never seen the movie but I have attempted playing the game a long time ago. (can't wait for the sequel). Overall it was a fun night hanging out with our friends :)

   Soooo the big question! what do you think of the glasses? aside from the fact that I look dorky enough, lol, Chris's mom said I looked like Jess from New Girl haha. 

I got the glasses from a site I found through another blogger. the site is called called Firmoo and it gives you the first pair for free, so I said 'why not?'. I've been wanting a pair of glasses even tho I don't need them. The funny thing: the site has the option for "fashion only/ non prescription glasses" lol! It's good to know I'm not the only one out there that wants to wear them as a fashion statement :P

The great feeling of finding fun polka dot pants that fit you and then finding out they are only 2 dollars?! oh my!. Go goodwill!

On Sunday Oct 7th was my birthday and after a lovely dinner with  my friends the night before and an awesome gift card to H&M from all of them, my fiance took me to the store for a shopping spree :D

Got tons of goodies but at the same time it was hard making decisions on what to get and what to not get considering I had a gift card limit and had to stick to it and not overspend.

So! now an awkward moment: 

when your neighbors decide to come out when you are taking pictures of your outfit. 

Can you picture that awkward moment for me right now? yep, just put yourself in my shoes for that min, when all you feel are eyes on you and you don't even want to look up for the start of an awkward conversation.

welp, I did look up when one went by as he was walking his dog and said "becoming a photographer?" 

...."no, just taking pictures for a blog I have"... he just walked away smiling and saying "oh OK, good" not sure what that meant, lol all I know is I always encounter weird situations, and this one was one of them. 

I have no clue how New York bloggers take their pictures in the middle of the street as people walk by, I guess is common to see people do it there often than down here where you barely encounter a soul in the streets. who knows!

maybe I need to move to a place where people walk out on the streets all the time, so I can break out of my shell when taking pictures in public :P

on October 6th my friends and I headed out to a Peruvian restaurant for my birthday.

It took me an hour (not kidding) to come out with my birthday outfit. you know that moment when you throw rows and rows of items out of your closet and none seem to go together lol. I usually plan my outfits ahead of time but this time with wedding stuff in my mind and not being a constant shopper it was truly hard to come out with something, but finally the outfit came together, and loved it :D

It was wonderful being surrounded by all of my friends on such a special day for me. I have to say I was a little afraid of taking them to a Peruvian restaurant because its not american food, obviously,  but everyone loved it and that was awesome :D

After dinner my friends surprised me with a card and a gift card to H&M, yes, I know! I have mentioned how I'm not shopping because of the wedding coming up and they surprised me with a shopping spree!!! :D!!

As many of you know Florida is not a place where you can experience the leaves changing color. I'm so envious of everyone up North posting pictures of all the beautiful colors around them. So i figured i wear rust with my camel bag and be the changing leaf on this greeny Florida.

I love rust, is close to my fav color (burgundy\wine) but with a hint of orange/brown. its another awesome color for fall, don't you think?

  Happy almost Friday! I woke up thinking it was Friday. It was like waking up 5 min before your alarm goes off. so yeah, maybe I'm grumpy today, maybe not :P..... coffeeee where are thou!?

    So my hair is getting so long! but what do you do when you have a wedding coming up? not cut it for months, I guess.  My brush keeps hiding from me in the mornings, (or more like I keep misplacing it and it falls in the unknown corners of my room, I truly believe there's a black hole in my room)  but seriously brushing this length is quite a work out ><

I love these pants, they are high waist, a rare color and fun to combine with mint, or even navy. :) what else can I ask for? :)

  Hello Ankle boots! is not winter yet but if we have to say that is "FALL" then I better look like it. and if my friend Lauren can survive in hers I can battle the heat as well!!

  So, Sunday night Anchor Church first service ever, was held at a house. We led worship and our pastor, Erik Bennett, preached.

We were originally going to start next year, but God opened a house where we can meet for now, and we are so so thankful for that! It was beautiful to sing worship as one, no mics, and to know that we don't need all of that to praise Him.
