Days off

Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled

On Saturdays I started playing around with the camera, taking pictures of how my days off tend to unfold... And as usual they start with coffee (by the way Spyhouse coffee is tops).
Chris knows how to use the DSLR camera better than me, and I felt like I was falling behind. So here is me learning.
Not going to lie though, my breakfast pictures are iphone pictures (if you couldn't tell).

I recently got some great plates, linen napkins, coasters and mugs from Crate and Barrel. I'm starting to build my kitchen collection little by little (my new obsession). I've discovered I enjoy styling my table as much as styling my outfits. And these plates from Crate and Barrel sure make my meals look good... Bring in all the neutrals.

Easter was this past weekend, and if you were wondering what Anchor had to do with Easter (as written on my notebook)  it's the name of my home church.

Below are a few pictures taken by my friend Bianca, my craft buddy and the lovely girl I'm standing next to on the very first picture <3.

Beach and crepes

Last Saturday was beach day, all day, literally! and I'm so glad I didn't end up with a sunburn. Thank you SPF 50 sunscreen and big sunhat.
My friend Lauren and I headed out to the beach in the morning. I thought the rain would ruin the day but the skies stayed pretty clear for the time we hung out at the beach, sunny and hot.
As soon as we got home the rain started, so needless to say we left the beach at the right time.

For the evening I had planned a beach date with Chris to go to Le petite prince (a cafe & sandwich place). We were going to play Frisbee until it got dark and then watch the stars on the beach... but the rain ruined half my plans. Regardless, we still went to the cafe place, which is right across from the beach, and got to enjoy their delicious crepes.
So selfish rain you didn't ruin my Saturday, I still had a great time :)

Birds, glasses and coffee

It's Monday and I'm just thinking... coffee.
Every morning my sweet husband makes my coffee. Its only taken him two days to master how I like it :D, He is more on the stronger side, French press and all.. I like mine in between, but with 3 teaspoons of sugar.. I'm a sweet tooth, what can I say.

I've been wearing my glasses a little more lately.. nothing like a free pair I can wear as a fashion statement and not because I need them...
I always said I wanted to have bad eye sight so I had an excuse to wear glasses, not considering that I could get ones without prescription. But knowing how touchy I'm with my eyes, contacts would def be a problem, I'm indeed thankful for my good vision.
Seriously, kudos to those brave ppl who can touch their eyes and deal with contacts. I would never be able to do that.

On another note is 22 days till Christmas!!! and 21 days till my husband's birthday!!! wooo!!

Honeymoon day 6: part 1- milkshake, burgers and a movie

On Friday, our last day to be in Orlando, we started our morning with the usual, Coffee!!!
(I got us this mugs about a year ago, and I was so happy Chris brought them on the trip :))

After enjoying our coffee, we headed out about noon to eat to Johnny Rockets and a movie...

Johnny Rockets was awesome!!! they had sweet potato fries, dark chocolate milkshakes with a Ghirardelli chocolate on top, sooo delicious!!!
This place was just better, over all, than steak and shake, the end.

After we enjoyed our meal, my husband took me to see Breaking Dawn part 2. I loved the fact that for being the second day after the midnight release, there was barely anyone in the theater :) which means we didn't get the hyped up girls that scream every time they see Taylor Lautner on the screen, and that is always a good thing for my ears! lol

we hurried back home to get all fancy for a night at downtown Disney, all that tomorrow on the blog!

Tomorrow is the last day post from the honeymoon, so stay tuned!
