It seems like I almost forgot all about this blog and this kimono. This pictures have been here all saved up and ready to go, but I just couldn't get myself to write a post.
I've been in such a bad mood because of back and neck pains. But thanks to my acupuncturist, I'm getting better and I'm having to constantly remind my slouchy posture to sit and stand up straight. Believe me is not an easy, nor painless feat.

In other news, this past Sunday was the first of many shows my friends and I [The Anchor Collective] will be playing. We released our Ep months ago and now we are finally starting to play at different venues; including a fun mini road trip to Tampa in July.
Oh yeah, we are stocked!

Bucket list

The older I get, the more I find myself wanting to travel + explore.

A few days back my friends and I, started talking about the age 30. Not that we are all there yet, but late 20's means you are getting closer.
Suddenly it was like opening a can of worms, as the questions started to unfold,

-"HAVE I LIVED?!"... -"HAVE I DONE IT ALL?"...

...and just like that, the bucket list emerged...

Chris and I are planning a vacation later this year. So far I know it will involve a cabin in the woods, seeing waterfalls for the first time, exploring + taking pictures; lots of pictures.
We've always done weekend vacations to Orlando, but not a long vacation since our honeymoon. So I'm happy to say that here's to planning a fun adventure before I'm 30. And of course, adding  a check on that bucket list.

A town, not so close to home, has some of the prettiest background walls. We came across this one in Wynwood by Miami. If only this wall was on my side of town. It would probably be on every blog post, I assure you.

I have a love for weathered walls. Something about the dirt like art on a wall, the stains from the rain over the years, the peeling of the paint that creates a variety of greens, or just an unfinished wall.
I'm thinking of recreating a weathered wall on Chris's and I bedroom, when we own our own place. It'll probably make more sense when it's done and I get to show you. But until then you can call me crazy.

P.S. Alliteration points on that tittle. Where is my English teacher? #goldstar

Fancy Dessert

It's way too hot in Florida to wear a long sleeve top. But I somehow managed the quick walk from the car to the theater, where the A/C hits like a winter in all its glory.

I love this huge bag my mom gave me. And for situations like movie dates, my husband loves it the most. And he sure lets me know so, not by carrying it, but by stuffing the Mary Poppin's bag with all the goodies.
Maybe next time I'll make him carry it.

After the movies, I had a craving for what I like to call a fancy dessert. Not just any dessert, it has to be amazing. We ended up at Grand Lux. Peach hand pies and a glass of some delicious merlot wine?
That my friends, is a fancy dessert.

Mornings + coffee + silence

A tee shirt + slouchy pants = great comfort level. Add boots or any shoe with a heel and your outfit is a bit more dressed up; thus not looking like rolled out of bed.
This is my first pair of Frye boots, and I love them. My first choice for cognac ankle boots, was the Madewell Billie boot. But ever since they went on sale they disappeared on my size (insert sad face). But this Frye boots are similar and my new favorites.

Usually I wear a blouse with this pants. A simple t-shirt makes it look like pj's -I think. But I was rushing in the morning, like usual, and it's all I threw on to head out to church.
I'm just not a morning person. Actually let me clarify, the Rosser household isn't a morning house. It's all coffee and silence... And it won't change until we have kids. Yes, there's no escaping that one, but let's save that thought for the future.

Last week, my husband and I had such a blast. We headed out to Orlando with our friends, to see a few bands play. Specially The Soil & The Sun. And of course they didn't disappoint. We were so tired after a 3 hour drive there and a 3 hour drive back. But needless to say it was all worth it.

Shall be a blast.

dress + boots: anthropologie || necklace: nastygal || bag: gift

This dress is the perfect spring/summer dress.

1. It's flowy, for those sticky, muggy Florida days.
2. Simple, thus making it easy to accessorize.
3. It has pockets!
4. and most importantly, it's soft + comfortable.

So tomorrow my husband + some of my close friends and I, will be Orlando bound for the day. Not exactly for Harry Potter (I bet that was your first guess, since it's where Chris and I go all the time) but to see the band Soil and the Sun perform. If you haven't heard of them, go check them out now.
Tomorrow shall be a blast!
