These photos were taken last year, but I'm just now finding the time to post them; slacking on the blogging department.
I've been wearing this hat non stop. It''s basically glued to my head now a days.

I've had people ask me about my hair care and how I keep it healthy after so much processing, so I decided to share it on a post.
First things first, I don't bleach my own hair. I go to my amazing hairstylist because she knows better than me. But if you can bleach it yourself without damaging it, kudos to you!

Anyways, here it goes:

1. I wash my hair every other day, to every 2 days. I usually wash it at night letting it air dry. I rarely use the hair dryer.

2. I make sure to get my haircut/ends cut every 6 to 8 weeks.

3. Every 3 weeks I use Salerm wheat germ hair mask (I buy it on amazon). Leaves your hair so soft! and you can also apply a dime size to your dry hair to give it a shine. It works wonders.

4. The shampoo I use to keep it from going brassy is Clairol's Shimmer lights purple shampoo.

5. For conditioner I use Clairol's shimmer lights as well. The purple conditioner is a lot stronger and could leave your hair purple so I use it on every two washes.
The times I don't apply the purple conditioner I use Nexxus conditioner, but you can use any good conditioner.

And that's all! Hope this is helpful.

As of recent I've been:

-Loving long sleeve layering tops; if it has a mock neck even better.
-Living in my 2 pairs of  501 levi's jeans.
-Rocking the dark red lipstick.

Christmas is swiftly approaching and it's that time of the year to buy my favorite hot chocolate of all time, Godiva dark chocolate. If you haven't tried it yet, do yourself a favor; It's amazing.

Back just in time to wish you all a Happy Thanksgivings!

As promised on my last post, I'm wearing a print. It's been a while since I blogged (true statement on its own) anything with a print (I think). I still love my neutrals but this shirt is nice to have in the rotation for a change.

Chris and I celebrated our 5th year anniversary on November 10th. Seriously, half a decade? I need to stop time.

It's been hard not being in our own place as my favorite three months of the year are going by. Decorating our house for the holidays is something I enjoy. Well, I always enjoy decorating, period, but the holidays are always extra special. Alas we will make the most of it and watch a lot of our favorite Christmas movies, maybe even go to the tree place and scout trees for fun. Why not? Traditions.

Float Away Set

float away set + sensual military duster + marrakesh leather pendant + arrow stone ring + breaker heel boot : Free People

After a nice relaxing week in North Carolina, a crazy week moving houses, followed by a fun 10 day tour with my band (The Anchor Collective), I can say I'm happy to be back on the blog!! It's been busy busy busy around here.

Sets are fun and just the best, because you can always pair the tops or bottoms with anything else in your closet. This top may have to make a come back with some jeans.
I was so happy to have found this one in the sale room at my store. It's so soft, comfortable, and makes me feel like I should have a photo-shoot in the desert; just give me a headscarf and a camel.

As you all know I love anything neutral and minimal, but believe me when I say some posts will come with some surprises. I've been liking a few colors and prints recently.

Stay tuned!
