Backwards for a higher neckline and a fun back

whenever I wear maxi dresses I never like wearing closed toe flats, instead I wear sandals. I'm not sure why, is just a personal preference. But when it comes to heels, a closed toe doesn't look that bad, right? and besides my toenails weren't painted so sandals were out of the question.

If you've read/followed my blog for a while, you've probably noticed that sometimes I like to wear things backwards, like this blouse.
If you haven't tried that yet, I would say go and try it out, it can be a cardigan, or a dress creating a higher neckline and an open and fun back.

P.S. Wore this to the Good Friday service last week at The Anchor Church.  It was a great night of remembrance and reflection upon what Christ did for us in the cross.

  1. It's amazing what a bit impact turning a top around can have on an outfit... although I've never seen this blouse on you the right way around, I love how it looks backwards, especially with your pearl necklace dangling down into it. And I think close-toed shoes were a great choice with your maxi :)
