Growing up in Peru i always had trouble spelling the word scissor...
it was the hardest word to remember how to write... i knew it had a 'C' i just didn't know where and how many "S's" were there... and just cause is my second language i still have trouble sometimes spelling it.. don't hate :P (thank you auto-correct)
i love how this outfit came out.. bought both items separately a while back, not even thinking they would someday match. the dress has few of the dots on the color of the blouse which works out nicely, i think.
Had tons of funs hanging with the girls at one of our friend's bridal shower. it was so much fun and i got to wear a toilet paper wedding dress for the first time, tho i had to breathe slowly so i wouldn't tear it. :P
If you read the previous post, you know i was going to get the Nike shoes to help my back somewhere in the future.. well not anymore! my sweetie surprise me with them yesterday! i'm so thankful :) he is soo sweet!
So i have this new thing to create outfits together. Maybe if you are like me sometimes and dont remember things you have or run out of time to put outfits together the way you would like to, here's an idea i came out with:
whatever comes to my head either drawn from inspiration somewhere or a new combination of colors or pieces or whatever comes to my mind during the day, i jot it down on my iphone notes by describing the items of clothing that would go together... then I make sure it goes together by trying it on (when i have free time) and i put a smiley face next to the outfit combination ive tried and know it works...
all this i keep in my iphone notes (numbered) so whenever i have to think of an outfit to wear for going out or a certain event instead of standing in front of my closet without a clue and making a huge mess, i just look at my notes and get ready.. definitely practical and less time consuming :)
with one more wedding to attend in a few weeks, my sweetie and i went to buy our friend's wedding gift. we also stopped by the Nike store.. He was determined that i should try a pair on to see how much support they give, compared to the kind of shoes i wear all the time..
of course i kept saying "but they dont match my wardrobe"
regardless I'm realizing i should probably invest in a good pair of sneakers that give good support.. im sure my back would thank me.
Mustard is a color that is growing on me.. never really liked it cause it was a pale meh version of a pretty yellow... but lately ive liked the mustards that have a little tint of orange as well but still stand as mustards..
yay for colors..
the ring and the shoes color with the mustard sweater= love
